Malaysia in a different way or The preview to the local life on the island of Pulau Pangkor

After a whole day on the way from the beautiful but cold Cameron Highlands, I find myself again in the wet landscapes but this time in warm ones on the island of Pulau Pangkor. The small Malaysian treasure washed by the beaches with the glittering sand and the endless watching at the surface of ocean during the sunset. I love the feel of meditation at the coast of seas and oceans. Peeking here and there, behind me and in front of me. I absorb an initial atmosphere of the island and forcing one’s way from a port out through all wonderful offerings from the local people.

Adventure of Malaysia or The stop for a black tea in the Cameron Highlands

The wind blows me to other unexplored Malaysian sceneries. Directly into the heart of the mountainous part of the Malay Peninsula. 🙂 I am waking up to the gloomy morning of the magnificent mountain plateau, verdant hills and original forest at an altitude of around 1 500 meters. I am peeking with one eye outside through a roof window. Falling down. And raining again. The conscience does not hesitate even a second and sends the eye back into a sweet dream for the next hour.

Cambodia with the sticker “For big money, you will get almost nothing” ~ Part 2 ~

Our backpacks are slowly growing roots on the island Koh Rong, on the Palm Beach. It is a perfect place for those who love quit. Everyone is entitled to its own palm with a lounger under a straw umbrella. Just be careful, the coconut could fall down on your head! Here is the abundant presence of coconuts. We regularly alternate our chilling at the beach with visiting a local restaurant. We are ordering the fries and laughing to our sticker about Cambodia, what will we get for 2.5 USD?! Surprise! The bulges are creating on our faces, it really is the delicacy. Yummy! We are ordering one more of the amazing HOMEMADE FRIES! 🙂

Cambodia with the sticker “For big money, you will get almost nothing” ~ Part 1 ~

Stuffy burning heat is roughly slamming us into our noses. Cambodia welcomes us. We are following our noses directly to the smell of fresh coffee. „Coffee, cafe, where are you?!” ☺ We are just smiling above the first Cambodian cup of coffee at the airport in the capital city Phnom Penh. We enjoy the quiet moment after an early morning flight from Kuala Lumpur. With enthusiasm, we observe the daily life of local people around, then a middle-aged man approaches us. „Do you need taxi?” he asks.
